The campground we usually stay in each fall was closed this year due to heavy rains and a terrific wind that went thru and leveled everything in it's path. Trees were either uprooted or snapped off. Some as high as 30 ft. up, others at ground level.
We did stay in a different campground about 20 miles or so further away that didn't have any damage.
Here is a picture of the little lake the campground is at where we usually stay. I was standing on the bridge/dam going into the campground.

Last three pictures was taken in the campground showing some of the sites with the trees down. They had already went in and cleaned up a lot of it, tops cut out and a lot of the limbing was done and cleaned up.
There was three rigs in there at the time, including the host. Nobody hurt.
The roads/fire lanes were all blocked. It took quite awhile before they were able to get the people out.
Glad we weren't there!!
