Strange theft

Pulled up to the dump station this morning to discover that someone had taken my 15 ft. Rhino Flex sewer hose! It was carried in an unlocked super tube carrier under the bumper. Fortunately I had a 10 ft extension in the bumper and was able to dump. I believe it may have been stolen while in a gated storage yard.
Anyone else experience this? IGuess I'm going to have to lock it up, but really?!

Pretty sad. I had all my locks keyed with the infamous ch751 keys that most mfg's use to help standardize showing new units at the sales yards.
I had two large rv yard rugs stolen from my basement. Then gas from my toy trailer, and other misc items from the storage yard.
Every lock has a new dbl sided keyed alike keys to hope avoid more theft.
You can never be too cautious.

These days are getting crazy! When I grew up we didn't lock anything and now that my shop got broken into twice I have ADT with sounders on every floor of both house and shop along with cameras and a 16 gauge shot gun. Let them try it again

I have to say that I do let my guard down in CG's as we have never had a problem and everyone is super nice but I am sure there are bad ones just waiting.

Reason I asked is, I thought they had quit the 16 ga. some years back.
I don't think I've seen a box of 16 ga. on the shelf for a long time.

Mark, you must be an ROF or was given that shot gun.
I have a 12 ga. bolt action JC Higgens that I bought at Sears in 1952. Don't know if they are made, anymore.
