woodwalker, is that the best you can do with your posts. I give you the hard facts and you can only give me jokes. Proves my point. There are no good facts about a GMC.

Shane I think that looks like your rig on the trailer. Anyway, it is a GM product.

I really appreciate the spec info. If I was looking for a little truck to put my tent and camping gear in I would definately check into them. Personally I would buy a Dodge before a Ford. I wouldn't take a ford if you gave me one. I have ran all three for 40 years and after that the cream rose to the top GMC

You better go get new glasses before you head out to the rally. You may get in the wrong truck.
I think the one on the trailer is 70,s or 80,s ford

All steel frame, aluminum body light weight no rust. By the way a lot of the weight they gave up in body panels they added to a more heavy frame.

I would rather eat free hot dogs, then GOVERNMENT cheese.

Hope they didn't drill holes in the frame to lighten them up like in the 80,s where the frames were buckling behind the cab

Na,the frame on the '17 Super Duty makes the one on '16 look like a 150 frame.

Can't talk you into that one huh?
I don't think anybody has to worry about heading to the factory sponsored rally's.
The private ones are still going tho, and if they keep them private, they will probably go for a long time to come.

And that is why the automible industry is where it is today. Toyota turned them on their ears. To bad Toyota doesn't start making RV's

Your right there...Ricktlm3 was the wagonmaster for the CR Factory Rally for a few years, started the 2016 Family Camping Rally this year and his is still happening while the CR rally is dead...

I love my GMC...That should makes this post legal...

Tommy, you are forgiven.
As I go thru life I have found almost everybody has one fault or another. Yours just happens to be the GMC.

Maybe that is why he is afraid of attending our Louisiana Gulf Coast Rally

If that's the case Frank, I would say he has got a legitimate concern.

You guys are GOOD, and I almost took the bait... As it is I have through the years owned, 2 Chevys, 2 Fords , 1 GMC, and 1 Toyota truck but have never owned a Dodge... As far as I am concerned this is the bottom line:::Trucks as are so many other things in life are a matter of personal preference... When the GMC gives out you can bet that I will be looking at ALL brands for the truck that will do what I want it to... I have been watching and will continue to watch this thread... Some of the posts have really cracked me up...

Tommy OUT...

Tommy, don't wait to long to start looking. You might have to take that GMC to the dealer in a wheel barrow when you get ready to trade.

OK..you got me in this...
Lloyd
You may be correct about the wheel barrow...I bought my fathers last car from his estate after he passed away in 1996...It was a 1995 Ford Taurus and just LIMPED it to the junk yard a couple of months ago...So as the example illustrates I am not a impulse buyer...
