To all veterans: Thank you! I haven't served, but I certainly admire and appreciate those of you who have. My family prays regularly for those who have served and who are still serving.

Thanks Walt & Al, and to all my fellow Vets who ran toward the fight when so many were running away from it, and to the women who put up with us....

My personal thanks and an apology to all vets for the sacrifices that seem to have been ignored and/or forgotten - it is through your efforts that we CAN speak badly of the gooberment in hopes of changing it for the better.

Thank you !

I would like to offer a cross border thanks to the boys and girls of Uncle Sam's forces. Some of the finest people I had the opportunity to serve with wore the uniform of the USN. An especially heartfelt nod and wink to the US Army 10th Mountain Division - this old sailor spent a tour of duty in Afghanistan under their Command - an experience I will never forget.

Thanks to all my fellow veterans. Today at Snow to Sun they had a nice 2 hour program with guest speakers who spoke on POW/MIA's and the Honor Flight Program. After that they acknowledged all veterans, by service branch, and all 5 branches were represented. What was nearest and dearest to my heart was one WWII veteran in our group. And he walked to the front with the rest of our Army Group. I was so in awe of this man, I couldn't be more proud. Thanks everyone, God Bless America.

Travel well, travel safe,
Jim

We attended the 2013 Good Sam rally in Syracuse NY. They also had a Veterans program.
All branches of armed forces were represented. Each group gathered and marched into an auditorium and sat as a group. There were men from WW2. Many memories good and bad but what a renewed pride in our Country and our Flag and what it stands for.
Each group member was supplied a colored ribbon to represent our respective branch.
After the program we all walked a little taller.
Thanks for you post Jim.
