This will be a good weekend. We are leaving early in the morning to head over to eastern Washington to the Gorge Amphitheater to see Keith Urban and John Meyer. Got a premium campsite booked at theGorge and it'll be just beme and DW, leaving the kids at home with the sis in law..The last time it was just me and the misses out in the 5er was about 4 years ago...

The weather is forecast for 77 and sunny... Can it get any better? Edited by: shoetravel

Boy was that fun. Keith Urban does a great show... John Mayer was ...okay. Not really my type of music but great musicianship. The parts wherethey played together were fun. Even the opening act,The Avett Brothers, was good. Kind of a bluegrass with an edge. Sure made for a fun weekend.

The Gorge Amphitheater sure is great place for a concert. The stage sits right on the edge of a deep gorge above the Columbia River near Quincy Washington. The acoustics are incredible and the seating is "naturally" terraced going up the hill side from the stage. I hadn't been there for several years and forgot howmuch fun it could be. It sure was nice having the Cruiser sitting in the campground for after the show instead of doing the 3 hours drive back home after the show like the last time I was there...Edited by: shoetravel
