Saw something very scary this weekend at Jellystone Park in Calendonia Wi.

The brief time we were able to spend outside this our open weekend for the 2011 camping season. I saw a guy pull in with a GMC 2500 towing a according to him 49 1/2 ft 5th wheel that weights 18,000lbs. See link for what this unit looked like.

My understanding was he worked for a sealcoat business that works the winters in Texas and the summers in Wi. and that he drove this dangerous comb from Texas. While I thought his combo was very dangerous, it didn't beat what his co-worker was towing. He was towing a very similar / slightly smaller 5er with a Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab.

I couldn't be lieve my eyes wished I had picture. Other of his business associates drove new vehicles 1 was a Lincoln MKS another was a MB GL350 and few F150's with a company name on them, but yet all vehicles had different state plates on them.

Once they all came in and set up it dawned on me that they were probably gypsies. Running a seal coating business that prays on the old with watered down coating and over priced crack filler. Come blast a town / community then high tail it out.

Besides them raising my attention to I how assume their business model, I was more concerned with them sharing the road with me and my family. It was scary watching them pull drive down the campground roads, glad I didn't see them on the Interstate.

I saw an almost identical unit/group overnight atthe Walmart in Page, AZ. They at least had a dually pulling there trailer, but2 or 3luxury SUVs joined it along with a couple cars and they were quite raucous all night. Woke up at about 4 am by one of them/someone visiting them doing a burnout past our trailer. Quite the group of people...
