winter

Temp this morning when I got up was 30 below zero. In and around the area they were claiming 50 to 60 below zero wind chill.
I guess we have one more night of it to endure. It's suppose to be colder tonight. At 7:30 PM, thermometer said 24 below.
We haven't had cold like this for many years, and I hope it's many many more before we see it again.

Throw another log on the fire Lloyd. We are a balmy 0 degrees here in North East PA.

A few more days and it's supposed to break, we will see.

I'm a little upset because the forecast down here originally called for a low of 26, so I winterized the trailer.
It only got down to 34.
Seriously, I feel for you folks up north, brutal!

Minus 33 here this morning. It's now up to a balmy minus 16.
I heard on TV there will be a 100 degree swing it temps this weekend for some around here. Of course they are figuring the 6o degree wind chill in. Suppose to hit 44 degrees above zero. That's crazy!
It should create a good atmosphere for all the nasty bugs and viruses to really get going in.

It has been in the 70s in central Virginia this week and may snow Tuesday Look on the bright side, when it is that cold, the mud is frozen

I was going to complain about the 2 inch snow we got today and the snow rain and freezing rain we're suppose to get tomorrow, but after reading your post I think I'll just SHUT MY MOUTH...

Tommy, this month has been very unusual for Feb.
Snowfall average is about 7 to 8in. So far this month we've had about 20in.
Tonight and tomorrow chance of another 6 to 10in. with maybe a little more on Thurs.
At least the nasty bitter cold has subsided.

Here today sleet rain and freezing rain...I would rather have snow but pretty sure I would NOT want 20 inches of snow...I also have to admit with all the extreme weather throughout the country, the weather here where I live is very good in comparison...

PS...stay warm and dry buddy...

UPDATE
Since 2/1/2019 we have received over 4ft. of snow. With more still to come. Coldest morning minus 31.
It has been a brutal, very unusual Feb. I will be one happy camper when spring gets here.

Ya know Frank I was thinking that very same thing. Problem is the snow is to deep to get out of the shed.
