I find it amazing that there isn't at least one 12V accessory outlet in my 5er. Am I missing something or is this something they leave up to the owner to install?

I find it hard there is not one... I have 2 in my PP one in the bedroom and one by the TV. They are female plugs (cigarette lighter type)

cygnus sailor, are you sure there isn't a plug above your dresser in the bedroom? (Ceiling)

You are right!!! It doesn't look like one because it sticks out about 3/4 of an inch. I've noticed it there before but didn't think much about it. I figured it had something to do with putting a TV there, and since I wasn't going to do that I didn't even look at it. I looked around again and it seems to be the only one I have.

Thanks,

There should be another 12 vdc outlet, located near the tv in the living area.

Our trailer has one in the front pass-through next to the light.

Have one in my basement with a 120 plugin and the front TV cable hookup plus the ones in the livingroom and bedroom.

With the help of the forum I have found two 12V outlets so far. One in the basement on the "ceiling" of the basement, next to two 120V outlets. The other is in the bedroom where you are supposed to mount a television. I don't see one near the television in the living area. Thanks for all the help!

I don't have one behind the TV in the LR either. One time we were dry camping and wanted to watch a movie, I just ran a dc/ac converter off of a booster pack.
It could be a useful mod to put a 12 volt plug behind the tv. 12v is there for the dvd player.
