came across another discovery yesterday when doing some more in depth surveying of our trailer, we have found a battery box that was in an enclosed compartment, it did have a battery in it that was hooked up, however, there is also a hook up for a battery on the hitch, that did not have a battery hooked up to it,, Can you please tell me what the purpose would be for 2 battery hook ups? Have had a few trailers in the past, never with 2 batteries.
As I have posted before, this is an 01 prep series, 32fks,,I cant seem to find a whole lot of info on this particular model, do any of you out there have this same one?

Like 2 batteries in some trucks or 2 alternators.. 2 batteries will give you more power when needed.

I have two in my rig. We seldom camp where there are electrical hookups, so the extra battery extends the time between generator top ups.
