I just bought a 2006 Paradise Pointe 36 four slide tralier. I am new at this. I liked the trailer because of the floor plan and it does not show any abuse. It looks as though it has been setting for years. I pulled it back to my Home in New Mexico from Greeneville Tennessee, 1500 miles. I had no problem except for two tires blow in Oklahoma. But I think new tires could blow in Oklahoma on Hwy 40. I felt very fortunate to have made the trip and to be the owner of this trailer. Now that I see the postings of the problems people are having I am not so sure of how happy I am with this purchase. Does anyone have anything good to say about this trailer? What do you think I am in for? Worried!

I don't think you should be to concerned. Most older rigs have probably had all the "bugs" taken care of. A lot of the newer posts are dealing with problems with equipment not found in pre-2009/early2010 units such as new style slide mechanisms and just general quality issues. Hopefully Crossroads is working hard to fix these issues before their reputation suffers to much. As an owner of two different Crossroads units we have been very happy with both, both from a quality and equipment point of view.

Welcome to the forum. Your going to like your new camper. The P.P. is one of the best campers around. Don't worry about what you read here. Most complaints are by few.

One other thing and this is my opinion only swith your tires to LT tires if you have st's on there now. St's are speed rated to 65 mph. and don't seem to last as good as LT's.

Before CrossRoads was bought by Thor they built a very nice, quality trailer for the price. As with anything else, once the big boys buy them up it's all about the quantity and nothing about the quality and most people end up disappointed because of CrossRoads prior reputation. I would have your axles checked for alignment and then add 4 new LT tires that can handle the weight of your trailer. Stay close to home for a few trips to test everything out and go from there. I have only heard of a few with "major" problems, most are simply quality control issues that should have been caught before the trailer left the factory or by the dealer when the unit was being prepped for delivery. We have enjoyed ours with very few complaints.

I agree with Scott and the only troubles that I went to CR about was the front roof they fixed and the red decals that cracked and faded well they sent them to me. We love our unit and will drive the wheels off of it. Enjoy it and welcome to the forum
