I just camped in my new 26RB this last weekend. On my previous TT's I could always
Extend the antenna and turn it. This one is low and stationary. Seems weird it doesn't turn. Only picked up 2 stations and I had the boost turned on. I was pretty far away from any main towns. Just curious if this antenna is as good as the old style. Love the RV.

If its the Jensen Omnidirectional your lucky to get 2 channels. Only thing I don't like about my TT is that antenna. I hear the Jack antenna is good but I'm scared about drilling a hole through my roof. Edited by: hondavalk

Having the same antenna on our fifth wheel, I am happy with the reception that we receive. Everything comes down to location. If you enjoy the wooded sites you will be minimized to the channels you will receive. We have ranged from receiving 6 channels to a whopping 28 channels. We enjoy the fact that the unit is stationary and do not have to raise/lower for use.

Not hawkish on watching TV prefer dvd's. Witnessed a camper leave his site with the antenna up it got caugt on a tree branch and ripped his roof. Jensen is not the best but it prevents forgetting to lower it. JMO

I have the same one and I like it. I never was good at the old one with turning and feel like I get the same amount of channels.

Well I will just have to wait and see how it works next summer. Winterizing time. Was going to cover the TT, but
with that antenna, I'm not sure how it would handle a cover with the wings. May just leave it uncovered.

We have the same antenna and do not have any problems w/ it. I think we had 12 channels the last time we were out. Reception is a function of location.

we just bought a st270bh a few weeks ago and our antenna picked up 25 or so channels in our yard no trees . took it to pigeon forge on the first trip and got 10 or 15 before we figured out how to get the cable to pick up. if anyone does not know you have to turn the boost switch off fyi.I hope this helps
