Question 27RL Zinger Fresh tank problem

We dont often dry camp so we usually travel with dry tanks. We are going to Road America in August and you need to bring your water with you. I was under my TT and noticed about 4 inches of slack between the the two steel bands that run under the tank. Now Im afraid to travel with water in the tank for fear Ill find it on the road next. Has anyone else noticed this much slack in those bands? Thanks in advance.

If you are worried , add 2 angle iron pieces from frame to frame. You can clamp the ends so as not to drill into the frame if you wish .
