Do any of you 335SS owners have a problem with the unit bouncing every time you walk across the floor? I have tried just about everything I can think of and still can't get the bounce out. I have a suspicion that it is caused by the Equa-flex suspension, but not sure. Any suggestions, remedies appreciated.

George do have a stabilizer system added to your unit? If you do, have you tried resetting it? Also, if you have the steadyfast (or what ever set up) does it bounce right away after you have set up, or is it after you have set for awhile?
I don't have a 335SS, but I do have the Equa-flex, and don't notice what you are describing.

George,

What about wheel chocks that clamp between the tires? That should reduce some movement of the Equaflex suspension. I use a set of the plastic wedge type and they seem to provide some help, don't have any type of stabilizers.

I have the Eliminator stabilizer bars installed on my unit. I have tried resetting the bars, jacks under the frame, wheel chocks, etc. and nothing seems to help. I have also tried the rear stabilizer jacks at almost every stage and that doesn't help. My next step is to block the landing gear and rear stabilizers so that they only extend a short distance and see if that helps.

I have the SteadyFast system installed on my 335SS and also use wheel locks between the tires. It eliminates most of the bounce, but not all. I'm not sure if you can eliminate it all, although ours is 1000% better with the SteadyFast. I also try to keep the extension on the front jacks as short as possible. IMHO the only way to eliminate 100% of the bounce is to take all the stress off the suspension and that would require blocking the frame or hydraulic systems.

Not really a problem with my 335ss. We do use BAL Deluxe tire locking chock.s It seems they do the job

We get a fair amount of "bounce" in our 5er and we have the equa-flex too. Don't know if it is worse because of the equa-flex but if I put the rear stabilizer jacks down it cuts out a lot of the movement. My parents had a Jayco Designer and it would do the same thing. It is just hard to make something that is sitting on tires mounted to springs hold still when your teenage son chases his little sister around inside it!

We block the front legs and rear stabilzers and a pair of x-chocks does a fairly good job. You cannot really eliminate it all.

No problem with ours - tripod king pin support, wheel chocks, Bal wheel chocks, rear stabilizer lifting rear slightly.

May want to re-check the suspension components.
