I posted a picture to my Photobucket album of our 5er parked under the shelter I just completed. It looks pretty good if I do say so myself. The fabric has a 15 year warranty so it just may outlast me!!! If you'd like to see it... http://s1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff450/cygnus140/

Concrete is still an option. Maybe next year!

We had a metal one similar to that built except we had the peaks closed in on the ends. It sure does make a huge difference on how well our 5er winters over.
I like you ladder extension, not only is it tall enough but can travel back and forth, nice.

It's a ten foot ladder, and even with it in the bed of the pickup it was still a bit short. I put it on four overturned plastic milk crates and cross tied it to the tie downs in the truck bed. That made it just long enough to be able to work at the peak.

Yeah...I was wondering about the "ladder truck"...I am sure you could have called in a favor with a bucket truck if you needed

I'm sure I could have had one or more of my ex co-workers bring their bucket trucks over, but it was much more gratifying to figure out a way to get done on my own.
