Adding Cabinets

Has anyone installed additional cabinets in the kitchen? I want to add one but would like to know if anyone has already done this and how they did it.
Can you add a standard cabinet from the home improvement stores without weight being an issue?

The weight would just come off the weight you can safely haul. I think a bigger problem would be matching the existing cabinets. You could possibly go with maximum contrast, of course.

Whatever you add will definitely be better quality & way better installation.

I was just making sure the weight of a standard cabinet wouldn't be too much weight for the walls or ceiling.
