Since Redwood is listed as one of the Cross roads line up does anyone if an owners forum will be added?

You need to get in touch with Dave Boggs and talk to him about it.

First, Redwood is not listed as a Crossroads product. When you look at the Crossroads line of rv's, Redwood is not mentioned. I have talked to people from Crossroads and Redwood and they all say the same thing - Redwood is a stand alone company in a completely seperate facility in a different town than Crossroads. Why Crossroads has a link to the Redwood web site, I don't know but it has caused lots of confusion on rv forums. Don Emahiser is CEO of both companies and Crossroads is taking care of Redwoods warranty work for now. I'm guessing it is because that's how Thor told them to do it.
As far as a forum, it would be great to have one somewhere to hear from the people who have purchased a Redwood. If it's on the Crossroads web site, that would be great too.

They had a Redwood at the Factory Rally.....it was gorgeous. All of the ads have a Crossroads label on them. I'd love to see it added to our Forum (Dave ??) I intend to fulltime in four years and will be seriously looking to purchase in 2. The Rushmore and Redwood are candidates unless I find a custom builder that will leave some for my kids
But I'd really like to see the Redwood built at Crossroads.

I looked into the Redwood and i talked to the company rep and I was basicaally told they were going to distance themselves from the crossroads line, they are trying to appeal to the fulltimer or to be nice the more "seasoned " Rver, the crossroads line has always been an entry level unit and that is what they are trying to leave behind with this unit...basically they want to move up and beyond the people they are now marketing too, sounds like a smart plan to me..

I sent an e-mail to Redwood asking about a forum on their web site. I received an e-mail from Tom Montague saying they are in the process of redesigning their web site and the new one will have a forum. He said expect to see it in about a month.
Also, the Crossroads - Redwood connection is Thor and Don Emahiser. Just like used to when a Chrysler dealer sold Chrysler, Plymouth and maybe Dodge or a GM dealer had Buick, Pontiac, Cadillac and GMC. Different brands/lineups under the same umbrella. Redwood is only about a year old and still trying to get established. What better place to put it out there than at a rally. Crossroads doesn't have any rv's that compete directly with the Redwood, like a Cadillac at the Buick dealership.

Really?
I knew this was going to happen months ago while speaking with Tom Montague.

During our discussions, he told me it would become a Crossroads product for many reasons. Warranty locations, easier marketing and a simplified division structure.

I'm wondering what everyone considers the "Rushmore" line to be? They look pretty exquisite to me and show some very nice detailing...albeit they are rather large. IMHO

It will be interesting to see what Tom Montague will bring to the Rushmore line now that he has been promoted General Manager of both the Redwood and Rushmore lines.
