Are you activating the booster button to upgrade the signal?

If using the antenna booster must be on, with cable booster must be off & regardless of which input you chose you must scan the the tv every time you change locations.

Could also be the fact that the connection somewhere is not properly hooked up. Start disconnectiong things and check.

Might also be the location where they are camping. Last weekend I could receive 37 channels while camping on a high hill overlooking Lake Ontario. But when camping 50 miles closer to Toronto, within a couple hundred feet of the lake, I get nothing. Most other places we camp, only a few channels come in.

I'm having the same issue with my antenna and the booster is on. I have the fixed wing antenna. We can be in the middle of the Dallas Fort Worth area and very limited after scanning for channels. I owned a Wildwood previously and had the crank up and never had any issue. I'll check the connectors and let y'all know.

It's possible that the booster is bad. Happens quite often.

We had the same issue with our stock omnidirectional antenna (I think it may have been a Jensen brand) it had very poor reception. We switched out the stock antenna with a King Jack antenna with a signal meter and the reception and number of channels improved.

You are correct, it is a Jensen Brand.. I'll look into that antenna. Thank you for your help. Did it mount to the existing stand on the roof?

No, the old one needs to be removed totally, then the new one goes in it's place with the help of an adapter plate that is made for the King Jack antenna.
