Hmmm, my E-center is not in a slide. If the E-center is in a slide my guess is they would only have one feed coming out of the E-center. If so the splitter is probably close to the outside connection to keep the amount of cable used to a minimum. Not sure if you would be able to fish it out thru the hole for the outside connection or not.
