Atwood replacement alu tank

6 gallon tank leaking. Is there different replacement types of alu tank or only one for 6 gallon and one for 10 gallon ? Thank you!

Don't know the answer to your question but you could call atwood. Personally, if it were me I would just replace the whole unit. It might be cheaper and a lot easier than replacing just the tank with all the parts to remove plus all the styrofoam insulation.

I agree with replacing the whole water heater. There is a lot to remove from your old tank and if any of it breaks that is added expense. Also you would have a new tank with a old heating element ; burner and control ; pop off valve. And limit switches. Also all the electronics. May be cheaper in the long run to just replace it. Also have you verified that the tank is the source of the leak not a fitting? Just a thought. Sometimes it is hard to see where the leak is.
