Mine started going out the first year. A couple at a time. Now in year 3 one whole strip is out and the other is half out.

Got our 5er May 2016. Awning lights started burning out on third trip camping. Waited until this April to get appointment repaired under warranty. Drove down in May an hour to Camping World to have replace along with another door (warping at the bottom; sticking out an inch) also outside stove vent flapper just fell off. They replaced vent. Door that was sent was wrong color and when the installed new awning lights, half of the new ones were burnt out already. But got the vent fixed, LOL. Now waiting for another door and new lights to come in then I get to make another trip. Yea!

Has anyone mounted their replacement LED's on the roller tube? The best lights, according to the reviews, I have found are from RecPro. I would like to keep this simple as I can. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for your valued responses.

Our led lights in the awning are going out. Started to go out a few months ago. Not covered under any warranties any longer.
Anyone have suggestions for replacing them?

As I probably said earlier, just do what I do and let them go out. New crap will go out again anyways ....no worth the time to change them out . A fad that didn't pan out.

That's what I was planning on with the ones in there now. But I want to put new ones on the RV itself and not in the awning. I was looking for suggestions on what kind/brand and mounting. As well as hooking them up to the switch used for the awning lights in now.

As I've said before, order several sets, you'll be changing them AGAIN & attach them with either Velcro or zippers so they're easy to change next time.

Mine are ok too and so are the cheap color changing ones I got from China via Ebay for under the trailer. I can't help but think that a boatload of defective ones got foisted off on the RV industry. And the factory sure isn't going to throw them away and buy new ones. If they're gonna fail, where else than in the damp shake, rattle and roll of RV exteriors.
Thanks to those who posted that your LED's work so as to give a more accurate view of the situation to future thread searchers.
