Axel bent/ Tire wear pattern

Anyone ever seen tires wear along the inside and the outside treads, leaving the middle of the tire without wear? I just put the unused spare on the driver side front rim before a 1400 mile trip (switched out spare tire to the RV alloy rim). Watching my trailer tire profile through the side mirrors while driving, it appears that the driver side front tire tracks a little different than the rear axel - I am thinking that the front axel is bent or warped? I check the pressure every day before heading out and I keep 70 psi in all four trailer tires. Any ideas? The rest of the tires are wearing normally.
Thanks,
Max

Normally what you described is caused by under-inflation. What size tires are you running? For that size rig, 70PSI may not be enough.

All 4 of mine wore on the inside & outer edges, but wore evenly in the middle, I wrote it off as the tires constantly scrubbing while turning.

On a trip across country I noticed a unusual tire wear on the right rear. The other three were wearing fine. Axle needed to re-bent into proper alignment. I took it to a shop in Kalispell Mt that specializes in trailer alignments. Lipert and Crossroads ended up warrantying the axle. We took it to the Lipert factory and they found the brake/hub system damaged also. Possibly prior to installation. They replaced the axle, under warranty. Factory shop were great people to work with. Crossroads gave me a replacement tire.
We were just fortunate to have the time, to travel the country and go to the factory shop.

ST235 / 80 R16 Sidewall says 80 psi max - probably should increase the PSI a little. Thanks

I run my '13 Cruiser Patriot at 80 lbs. Have around 10,000 miles on them and they show no wear. Original China bombs too.
