Ball height for ZT-260-BL

Anyone out there have the Specs for a Zinger ZT-260-BL. I recently had my head, ball and shank stolen. I'm wondering what the tongue height or ball height is for my trailer so I can set my new head and shank to my truck. My trailer is a long ways away parked in a field where I can't get a good measurement.

Thank you

If I get a chance this weekend I will try to run out to the tt and get a measurement for you (ours is 5 min from the house).

Thank you. I'm looking at buying a Reese weight distributing hitch with sway control to replace what was stolen. Not sure I need weight distributing with a 1 ton truck.

I have a 1 ton and went to the scales. We were light on the front end, the reese dual cam fixed that (I run 1200/12000 lb hitch). Also, your hitch weight will be too heavy for the load bearing settings on your hitch, so yes, you will need a wdh.

Thank you for the information. That made my decision on the wdh easier. I'm still pretty new to this. I went out and bought a bunch of locks for the trailer hitch and wheels.

With this size tt you really need to have integrated sway control and not just a sway bar. Typically the sway bars are recommended for under 26 ft and integrated sway control is recommended for over 26 ft. This tt is 30 ft rear bumper to ball.

The reese dual cam has been a good hitch. My next one will probably be the reese strait line as the dual cam doesn't go large enough for the tt I'm looking at (11000 lb gvwr and at least 1500 lbs of loaded tongue weight). The equal-i-zer hitch also gets good reviews. I can tell you, I run heavy on my tongue weight. My loaded tongue weight is close to 1000 lbs and my loaded tt weight is 7300 lbs at last weigh in. Depending on how you load you should be looking at 13-15% of loaded tt weight for your tongue weight.

Hi Anaro,Did you manage to get your hitch height measured for me? I'm looking at different hitches now as well because the wife and I had planned on getting a bigger trailer in the next couple of years anyways. Might as well get a better hitch before we do.

Sorry, I forgot to get it while I had the tt this weekend. It was a little hectic, We were in the process of trying to sell our tt but the deal fell through. Anyways, the hitch is still attached to my truck and since I tow level, I can try to measure that for you. I will do it tomorrow when the truck is on level ground. If you don't see a post by tomorrow evening, please shoot me a reminder.
