Basic water help on 2017 Z-1 Lite
We will be making our first trip in our RV next week. We will be parked on my sons farm. We only want to set up the toilet for possible use, not sink or shower water needed on this trip. The owners manual, while very helpful in most areas, does not explain to us the basics of how to get water in to the toilet system. We see the obvious "City Water" connector, we see the Black Water OUT large drain pipe, and we see the two blue and red hose connections (hot/cold water Out drains?)but we don't see any other water connectors for us to attach a hose to in order to fill the toilet system. We have the correct sanitizer stuff to pour directly in to the toilet. Some basic help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Put some water in the fresh water tank and turn on the pump. that'll pressure up the water lines to help rinse the toilet. Other option is connect water hose to city water connection with the tap left on, leave pump off, that will pressure water lines. If you want hot water, fire up the water heater. Everything will work. You can't just pressure the toilet separately on the cold water side. Remember when you winterize to do both hot and cold everything.

The top photo is where you fill the fresh water tank, if this is used run the water in slowly so the air venting out can keep up with incoming water pressure.
The second photo the 3" is the sewer connection to drain all of the waste tanks, connect your hose & dump into a sewer connection.
The red/blue lines are the low point drains for hot/cold water lines. Once ready to winterize open these to drain before pumping RV anti freeze into the system.
You did not show where to connect a water hose to use rather than the pump. I would high recommend using a pressure regulator at the faucet you connect your water hose to unless you are absolutely positive the pressure will not ever exceed 60-65 psi.

There is only 1 water system in the camper just like in your house. It is fed by the fresh water tank thru the water pump to pressurize it or the "city water connection" that uses the line pressure from a hose connection. There should be another connection labeled " City Water" that you attach a water hose to. As stated you would want to use a water pressure regulator at the hose bib then the hose to the camper. Some put it at the camper but putting it at the hose bib will help protect the hose also.
Which ever you use - hose or tank - it will provide water to the whole camper not just the toilet. Also be sure to bleed the air out by opening a hot and cold faucet and the toilet flush valve so you do not get a surprise when you turn on the faucet.
Also welcome to the forum!

Just did a quick Google search to see if i could help you locate the city water hook up but there are 4 different floor plans. Could you please add the Camper model to your signature - 2017 zinger Z-1 lite _ _ _ _ . It will help others to help you better if we know what you are asking about.

Thank you for the model number. It looks like the city water hook up is located in the rear by the water heater. Hope this helps.

No one answered the question. You don't pressurize the toilet or tank. Once the water is hooked up any way previously mentioned, just flush the toilet. Water runs into the toilet and on each flush the water and other contents in the bowl go down the toilet drain into the black water tank. When the tank gets full or nearly full, you then hook up the sewer hose to the big outside tank drain and to the local sewer connection, pull the lever(s) and let the contents of the tank(s) drain out.

If i understood correctly the OP wanted to use the toilet without putting water in the rest of the trailer. The toilet and all the waterlines will be pressurized by the water pump or the city water hook up. So the question was answered. The only other way to use the toilet would be to pour water from a jug into the toilet at each use.
