Battery and a/c

Everytime i have the battery hooked up and get where I'm going, i plug in the power cable and i can never get the A/C to turn on. I have to disconnect the battery and on plug the canle from the source and then plug it back in to get the a/c to work. Anyone else have problems like this? Any suggestions?

We're having this same issue. I am wondering if we need to disconnect the battery (ours is up front at the hitch). Wondering do we need the battery hooked up if the main power source is a dedicated plug from the pole?

Dreams...is the battery hooked up correct ? Ginger ...battery stays hooked up and never need s to be disconnected till you take it out . Converter will charge it when hooked to an elec plug.

Hard to disconnect the battery and turn main breaker off and back on again. Used to have a jayco. Never happened on that one.

When I said 'till you take it out'...I meant when you take battery out for the winter. Battery is always hooked up.

Maybe the trailer is having trouble charging the battery and handling the amp draw for the AC?

Unhook battery, charge it fully with a battery charger. Put it back on the camper, make sure you hook the wires properly. Plug in camper. Turn on AC.
