Battery disconnect

Hello, I just purchased a 2016 crossroads longhorn reserve 5th wheel. It has dual batteries. It is not hooked up to electricity yet. I cannot locate a battery disconnect switch. I don't think there is one. There is a white (ground wire?) coming out from the rv and also a black one that are not hooked to the batteries. I was wondering if this is why nothing is working. Any thoughts?

Black is +/positive and white is -/negative, when hooking up an RV battery.

I don't think they come from the factory with a disconnect.

Before you hook the battery up , trace the white wire to make sure it actually is connected to the frame. Factory might have screwed up colours of wire...
you can buy a disconnect that connects to one of the terminals of the battery.

Also, without a disconnect, you Must leave the safety brake pin in place while the connection is made. If not, you'll energize the brakes which will usually end up frying the pin switch, overheating it.
You can hook the disconnect to either positive or the negative terminals to create the "open," although I favor the positive.

I had to install a battery disconnect on mine. I haven't heard of a TT coming with one.

How strange. Ours came with one. It's a red knob that we turn. I can't find an exact picture to match it, but it's sort of like this one.
