I'm new at this hookup stuff, so I'm wondering if I hook my battery to the RV cables before I hookup to campsite ac outlet( sunset trail parked as a permanent near Algoma ,Wi.) I don't want to blow any fuses in the converter...Tony W.
Tony, the battery should basically be hooked up all of the time. Maybe if it were put into storage you might disconnect the battery to keep it from running down but other than that keep it connected. The converter will charge the battery as it is plugged into the shore power.
