I tried to charge my battery(12v marine deep cycle) to 100%.It's at 90 now. When i hooked up the schumacher charger and set at low amperage, within minutes, fluid was coming from top of battery. is it too full? Last year my slideout wouldn't budge when i pressed the switch.I thought maybe the battery has to be 100% charged to drive the slideout motor. The next morning, the slideout worked.Does the converter act like a charger when you first connect your battery?...thanks anyone

Yes the converter is a charger also. An electrician co-worker told me one time that a deep-cycle battery needed to be charged harder (higher amp) to get them charged.

When charging on a charger it it best practice to pull the vent top off to let it vent better (also lets you see the water (acid) level).

If you can plug into either 120v OR 12v TV (as long as it is wired to power the trailer) you SHOULD be able to move the slide with a low battery.
