Is it the older style slide or the newer one with the aluminum tracks?

The newer Swintek (sp) are known for skipping teeth and getting bound up.

Need to see your dealer.

I was told by Randy at the factory, that if the tracks become misaligned, that the procedure to reset them is as follows:
If the slide is all the way in, open the slide about six inches and then bring it back in and let the motor "strain" a little. Repeat the procedure about four or five times.
This will also work if the slide is all the way out. Just bring the slide in about six inches and then all the way back out till the motor strains again. Repeat four or five times.
According to Randy, this is the procedure they use at the factory to realign the slide units when they come in for "adjustment".

I think there are two options:

1. Disconnect the motors to move the slide and then reconnect them to lock the slide.

2. Disconnect the power to the motors, move the slide and then reconnect the power to the motors to lock the slide.

I think option 1 is what can been seen on the Lippert videos.
