Below freezing at night

My family and I are leaving Saturday for a 4 day camping trip (first of the season for us!). Our Rezerve has an enclosed belly. It appears that two of the three nights are going to dip below freezing. Can I just unhook from he water supply at night and trust that the furnace will keep my plumbing from freezing? I will keep anti freeze in the gray and black water tanks but I am concerned about the supply lines. Any advice would be appreciated as I do not want to make a costly mistake. Thanks!

You should be fine. We camp every fall when the temps have gotten down into the teens.
With your furnace running it will put radiant heat into the under belly to keep the tanks and lines from freezing. If you want to leave the lower cupboard doors open, that will help also.
You are correct about unhooking your water supply hose. Drain and bring it in. That way you will be able to use it in the morning.
Have fun.

Does your Reserve have a heat duct that goes to the belly?

I wish I knew. How can I tell without removing the material and looking?

I bought a heated hose and it worked great, worth the investment to me.

If it's just the water supply you are worried about, you could leave the water running all night at a very small stream. Just make sure you are hooked up to sewer and the grey tank is open to drain. We did this in Florida one night last month. We did not run the furnace all night (our choice).

Thanks for the replies. We're here now and getting ready for bed. I've disconnected the supply hose and brought it inside for the night. I did put some water in the fresh water tank for toilet flushing purposes overnight. Hopefully we'll be good in the morning.

I did look online at heated hoses. I might pick one up sometime. It seems like a handy thing to have in your rig.

If you are looking at heated hoses stay away from the pirit brand, I have had 3 of these fail. I now have 2 diffrent lengths of camco heated hoses. They cost alot more but I have never had a problem with them.
