Black Caulk/Sealant

Does anyone know what the black caulk/sealant is that they use to seal the openings in the underbelly?

It's called Silaprene 12897. It's made by Royal Adhesives, 2001 West Washington St, South Bend, IN.

I have not seen it at a retail store but Crossroads sent me a tube when I did some warranty repair on my own. The above info came of the MSDS that was in the shipping box.
