What works for removing black streaks from an aluminum sided trailer? I tried the stuff from Wally World and it barely faded the black streaks.

I've found that Mr Clean Magic Erasers work well. It just requires a little more elbow grease to get them to work.

; to a local dollar store and buy a bottle of "Awesome". It's cheap and always did the job for me when I had an aluminum sided trailer. Be aware, though, it will also take off any layer of polish you may have on the trailer. Once you get it clean and repolished I found a good coat of New Finish will clean it easily in the future.

Hope this helps.

buy a cleaner wax, if you are using a strong soap or chemical that is going to strip the wax or polish off anyway why not just use a cleaner wax and save a step. the cleaner wax will lift the black streak and also apply a thin protective coat.
You can layer another coat of wax over it if you like but not necessary.
It works great and you don't risklosing the shine altogether.

Be real careful using awesome orange. My father took the paint right off the trailer.. Spray some on and use a dark rag and see what i mean..

I have gutter extensions on, Plus i clip on cloths pins.. The water runs off the roof about a foot away from the camper.. Cuts down dramaticaly the black streaks.

Like I said in previous post----Solvit. I have been using it for years. Takes black streaks off, but not the wax. If you can't find it in your local, you have to buy direct from the factory.

Lloyd is right. Solvit is the way to go. This stuff works great on a lot of things.
