Last night the propane tank ran dry and I couldn’t get the heater to fire up with the new one even after running the stove and bleeding the air out. The heater started again this morning but now is clicking like it can’t find the gas. Checked the stove and it works fine. Any hints?? Don’t want to spend another night like last night. It was 30 degrees here.

Something similar happened to me and it was the thermostat went to lockout. If the furnace tries to light 3 times and fails it goes to lockout.
Turn the thermostat to off - unplug the camper and if you have a battery disconnect turn it off or disconnect the battery - you want no power 12v or 110 wait for about 5 minuets then turn all power back on and then turn on the furnace. This should reset the thermostat for 3 more tries. If it still does not light try this one more time.
Just a heads up if you have 2 gas bottles make sure they are both on and when winter camping check the changeover for red each morning. That way it will change to the other bottle and allow you time to get the empty refilled without running out. Depending on the layout of your camper your stove may light but there is still air in the line to the furnace.

Aha, I didn’t know that about the switchover. Good thought. Yes I turned it off for a couple of hours, went and got propane. Once I plugged up the full bottle it fired right up. I saw on one troubleshooting site that if the propane doesn’t have enough pressure it won’t trigger the lighter. Seems that’s what happened. And yes, I’m sure I locked it out at 2 am LOL. Thanks everyone for the responses!

I will second the turning the thermostat to off and then setting it back to heat. I didn't have to shut the power off or anything like that, just the thermostat and it kicked right back on and relit. Another thing I will do is turn a burner on the stove top on and make sure it lights, on my 291RK the stove and heater are both on that rear wall.
Yes, lit the burner and it worked, which threw me off. Found out, though, that you can have enough pressure to light the burners but not trigger the igniter on the heater! Good experience, I guess LOL.
