camper steps

I just changed out the 3 step on the camper to a 4 step. We use to carry a wooden box along all the time for that first step. I thought I would eliminate that box going along with us all the time. Now, after seeing how much flex there is with a 4 step, I'm not so sure I did the right thing.

Question---what are you guys with a 4 step system doing to stabilize it?

I can't speak to the 4 step but I use one of these and it helps a lot as well as taking the bounce of the unit when someone goes in and out.

We just put a couple of leveling blocks under the bottom step. (the yellow or orange blocks you can get at Walmart or CW).
