There's bound to be Youtube videos and it's fairly simple mechanics if you are flexible enough to get in there. I think the main concerns are good water and gas connections, and good pictures so you know how everything goes back. Oh, and something that someone with the right tools to hand and who has done a hundred of them, does in 15 minutes will take you 2 hours (not counting trips to the store.) Then again, someone who has done a hundred of them for a small paycheck may not be as interested in the final product as you are. Short answer: Yes, if you want to.

If you go to Camping World, I believe they are $140 per hour.

Yes, it is an easy process. I did mine in 1 hour with YouTube as my guide. If it's an exact match to your existing, you won't need any parts unless something breaks along the way. I only needed a roll of butyl tape (optional) and clear silicone with hand tools.

I would try it myself. Hardest part usually is figuring out what is wrong, repairs are usually straight forward with youtube's guidance. Good luck.

Water tanks are pretty straight forward. I haven’t replaced mine but I have removed it. Putting it back. Was just as easy. Report back to us and let us know how it went!
