Castle Rock Tires; Size??

So I put my 5er up on jack stands and removed the wheels and tires. As I inspected the tires I noticed something. My tires are ST 225 on one side and on the other side it’s printed ST 226. What! So are they 225’s or 226’s? Here’s two pictures from the same tire.

Yea, I figured they were still ST 225 but wonder why they also say ST 226 on the same tire.

Just remember where they are made: China

225: 两百二十五

226: 两百二十六
You can see how easy it is to make a mistake,

My Sailun H rated 17.5" tiress are embossed "S637", so I'd guess the "226" is a model number or something.

I would think that if they didn’t say ST225 and ST226. Weird! Another Chinese mystery.

We had the same issue, we had less then 500 miles on our Cross Road RV & had a blow out. Caused us over $750.00 in damage to side of camper & knocked off our gas line connector, we were very lucky when the guy changed the tire it did not blow up. When we got home I smelled a strong odor of gas. Very cheap tires & different sizes. Sucks!

A little wider picture of the ST226 would have been helpful, but behind the ST226 is the rest of the tire size there, ST226/75R15. I think the ST226 is a model of the CastleRock brand.. The proper size would be the ST225/75R15 or 14 or what ever inch they are.

Yea that’s what my local tire shop told me also. All five said the same thing.
