Central Vac

We have the central vac in our Rushmore. I want to add an connection in the basement. I noticed lots of fittings on Amazon. Curious if the flex line will glue okay? Any ideas or tips?

Haven't done this mod, but I'd clamp the flex line rather than glue, just my .02 cents.

Flex line may catch lint and pet hair inside the hose and eventually clog. Please clamp it rather than glue.
