What is the best and safest way to remove the sticky stuff left by the label in the plastic sink? Also what is safe as a general cleanser for these sinks and the bathtub? I don't want to ruin the nice shiny finish.

There are probably a dozen or so other items that will work, but I find that GOOF OFF (available in Lowes / Home Depot) works great at removing glue and other adhesive residues and I always have a gallon can of it setting in my shop. Works great cleaning paint or glue etc. off carpets and vinyl.

The best product I've found is WD-40. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute or so then wipe it off.It may take a second applicationfor the real heavy stuff. After wiping offthe glue and sticky compound follow up with a mild detergent such as Dove dish washing soap.

If you can still find Bon-Ami in your area, then use that, if not then use Bar Keepers Friend.

Both of these are non abrasive.
