Condensate when using ac on ceiling

Does anyone else have this problem? Accumulating near ac register on ceiling is cold water. What's the remedy? Open a ceiling vent or just lowering setting?

Sounds like maybe there isn't enough, or any insulation up there. Pull one out and have a look see.
There has to be insulation between the hot outer surface and the cold AC run.

How humid was it? Windows and vents closed while AC running? If you allow any humidity in it will condense as water around the vents.

There may be a problem with your AC,
but even a perfect ac will do that if too much humidity in too small a space

When cooking, bathing, etc... we always have a vent fan going...

You may have an issue with condensation in the winter too when using your propane heater...

Many opt to use a dehumidifier to keep the humidity down.

i had the same problem last weekend to the extent it shorted out the circuit board in the controller.

My problem was kids kept going in and out of the trailer leaving the door open...i believe in the dometic documentation they mention that the trailer isnt closed up, you'll generate condensate on the unit...

Humidity was in upper 70's range, just wondering if others had the same problem, and what to do. I opened the vent above and turned ac off for a while.

Wondering if opening above vent was letting humidity in or out...

1. Keep fan running on high
2. Seal up the camper, close all windows and doors
3. open main vent under unit all the way

If that isn't doing the trick, make sure the weep holes on the ac drain on the roof are not cluttered with debris and the seal around the unit is secure.

I too had the same problem last weekend...
Did as Mark suggested for about 45 minutes, all was well.
You have to remember, most AC units will only cool the room approximately 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. It was 103 on Saturday afternoon here in Texas....it was miserable inside and out until the sun went down.
