Looking at a 201132MK Provincial 5th wheel. Seeing confusing ID label. Gross weight indicated at 13,800 lbs and showing 5200 lb axles on same label. Why is this? I would think that it must have 6000 lb axles since it has 6 bolt rims and 16 inch tires. Does anybody have an explanation? Thanks for your help. Al
Most 5ers have 30% pin weight min., that's 4140 pounds, leaving 9660 max on 2 axles. 4830 pounds on a 5200 pound axle. You will see a lot of trailer axles at 5200# with 6 bolts and 16 rims
You can verify axle rating by checking tag on axle itself.Edited by: delqcc
