Cracks underneath bedroom Slide

Cracks have developed in the bottom surface of the bedroom slide on each side where I assume the rollers are. They are on both sides, about 4" wide and around 6" long.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how to fix? (I'm a very experienced woodworker and home repair DIY.

Thanks for any info.

Frank

Is it just cracking the covering on the bottom of the slide? CR sent me powder coated 6" x 4' metal pieces that I had to trim to length & drill holes to mount as surface for rollers on the bedroom slide, rollers were beginning to wear through the plastic coating.

I know of other owners that have had to add metal strips for the rollers. Just make sure you use stainless steel or at least galvanized steel to prevent rust. Aluminum will work also, but needs to be thicker, at least 1/8 inch.

You have to get a picture editor to rotate the pic and then post. I use Photo Grid on the phone,
