Cool Design schematics

I've seen a few owners who are not aware of the design of their rv, through no fault of their own and other members who need assistance to find out the mechanical layout of the rv. This causes dissent and problems when repairs have to be made.

I think a lot of the problems would be better addressed if before we purchase an RV, and I don't care what make it is, that the design, electrical, hvac and plumbing schematics be available for all to see. That way we could see what we are getting and when there is a future problem we have something to refer to.

I'm sure Crossroads could have a download link for schematics for all the Rv's they make just like the auto and truck manufacturers do.

I agree. One thing that seems to be the norm industry wide is that the owner's manuals are pretty much worthless and schematics are non-existent. Maybe you could start a petition to try to get CR to add a link from their website to the electrical and mechanical drawings. It sure would help with troubleshooting.
