Dometic Refrigerator

After my friend's "recall" fiasco.....I looked up to see if Crossroads had ever had a recall.

Sure enough, the Dometic Refrigerator had a recall......which included the 2006 models.



I have a 2006 PP and wonder if was ever checked or changed. How would I go about making sure my unit is OK?

Call Dometic and they will be able to tell you. I did that on our 07 PP and found out ours was not part of the recall.

Our 06 Cruiser fridge had to be done. Seems like we were notified but can't remember if it came from Dometic or Crossroads.

Like Hunter said, call Dometic with the serial number and model.

I think you can find out on line which ones needed it but probably won't tell you if yours was done.

mine was on the recall, I did get a letter from Dometic and they did put the shield on, really not a big deal........

Just got a 2010 rushmore, the Dometic 2 door fridge.... is it supposed to be so loud? it has a big moter whirring sound... Can someone tell me if this is norma. We have always had Norcold in our 5 other campers. And never heard that before.

My Dometic is quiet as a church mouse. I would ask for it to be replaced under warranty if you can.

Doucet....Not sure what would be making that sound. Check to see if you have a cooling fan mounted towards the cooling fins. Some do if the fridge is in the slide. May be a bad fan.
