Drain lines I assume
So I'm trying to figure out what everything does. I bet the guy that gave me the nickel tour told me what these do exactly but I want to be sure.
There is a red and blue pair of drain lines and a single cap line and an open line.
I've taken this picture and figured the veterans here will lead me straight
Thanks in advance.
D.

Yes. Low point drains. To empty out the water lines for winterization

Could the open hose be for the freshwater overflow?

the red and blue lines are from the hot water heater. red is the hot side and blue is the cold side to the water heater. The back ones, white is fresh water overfill and and gray/black is fresh water tank drain.

the red and blue have nothing to do with the water heater...they are the low point drains for all the water lines in the trailer...I thought I stated that earlier.
water heater has its own drain ,whether a plastic plug or an anode rod.depending on alum or steel tank.

Thanks for the help.
Do you blow your lines? I've seen the air hose hook up for you city water inlet. I talked to one guy that said he blows out his lines and calls it good.

I don't bother blowing out lines. just put winterizing tube into a jug of non tox and turn on taps one at a time till pink comes out . .Do toilet and out shower too. By pass the water heater first and take out drain plug or anode and leave out till spring.

What do you do if you use it during winter?
Get my head examined?
I actually have a November hunting trip planned. Probably won't freeze before that, but might even use it later into the year. Just curious if it's possible to completely drain it and be safe.
