DSI fault light when water is heating.

Hoping someone has seen this issue.

This past weekend I noticed that the DSI fault light comes on when the water heater is heating the water. This happens with either gas or electric heating. Once the water is up to temperature (temp seems normal) and the heating turns off the DSI fault light turns off. I have checked/replaced the ECO and removed cleaned both thermostats. I have not replaced the thermostats yet. The water heater turns on/off just like it should.

The water heater is an Atwood GC6AA-10E

Done some googling but have not found an exact answer for this issue.

Update:
I went ahead and replaced the thermostats. Did not fix the problem. I am thinking its a circuit board. Called the dealer and the circuit board is still under warranty if that is what it is. Gonna call it a year and winterize and take it in in April. I will post an update then.

SOUNDS LIKE PART OF the Boiler Safety Circuit board is bad? Believe this maybe the one that many parts counters keep a tester available on the parts counter? Take pictures, then Remove and Take the circuit board in for warranty check?

I realize you mention warranty but the dealer will replace the circuit board with another poor quality Chinese circuit board. Just to give yourself a little heads up it might be worth your time to read a few reviews regarding a different USA supplier. There reviews have been very positive and also might have to get one for our water heater next spring. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0130Y8I1K/...v_ov_lig_dp_it

On the last two days of a 20 day trip, the gas side of the water heater started acting up. Getting the DSI fault, after a couple attempts at lighting. Made it home,
searched internet, where people suggested EVERYTHING! Emailed Atwood, she replied right away, suggested control board, and gave me the correct part number, based on my model number. $129 from Amazon, through Atwood, arrived at 12:05, project completed at 12:20pm. Works great. My problem was I was looking for some kind of sensor to tell the "computer" that the flame was on. There is only the igniter probe, which is called the probe/sensor. Somehow, through heat, vibration, or noise, it "just knows." Ours was built in 2014, and failed five years later. I can live with that. BTW, I take showers with both gas and electric heat on, and never run out of hot water!
