I Own the 2012 CTX with the outdoor kitchen . I have problems with the door....last year the screws that hold the two cylanders that keep this panel open were loosening and the the panel was starting to le go on the fifthwheel.
My dealer changed the panel and the cylanders .....he installed 45lbs cylanders instead of the 70lbs ones .....but now I have another problem.....the panel does not open completely......I have to help it with another stick to keep it completely open....
Does any one have a good suggestion ?

We had to have this door replaced because the screws pulled out of the door which rendered it useless. Fortunately, we were able to have the factory replace it when we were at the rally. You should contact Crossroads warranty about the cylinder change as your door was (IMHO) designed to have 70# ones. Your dealer may have taken a short cut. (Again, IMHO)

Why have an outdoor kitchen that you can not use as seen when you were shopping for your RV?

Or IMHO=In My Humble Opinion

This was the one I learned a long time ago. I use it to let someone know that I do not intend to bash anyone and that it is strictly my opinion.

I have a st31bh and am having the same problem. After the screws on the door ripped out, the dealer "repaired" it under warranty. They just moved the screws over a quarter inch. No big shocker that they pulled out again. I bought some larger brackets from Keystone that I saw on a friend's Laredo, but they don't work either. I'm frustrated. I wish there was a good solution. I fear the repair will keep failing and my warranty in nearing the end.

I sent an e- mail to cruiser Customer service and they don't seem to have a long term fix on this. My dealer installed aluminium plates between bracket and panel, this worked very well, but transfers pressure to the hinge that holds the panel!!!!!
