Fender skirt
I lost the passenger side wheel skirt (one closest to the RV door on my ST32RL. It must have flown off somewhere in Nebraska LOL. Can I order a replacement online or should I just call a dealer in Atlanta when I get back?

Check icondirect.com for plastic RV parts. They have fender skirts and I got my outer skylight from them.

I should play the lottery tonight. My fender skirt broke and fell off when towing my trailer back home on Thursday this week. I was at a loss as how to replace without paying a ransom to CW...

Catman,
I went on the link and it looks like they will be able to help me. They sell all kinds of fender skirts. You take measurements and they have skirts listed by manufacturer. I just poked around, but the prices I saw were in the $160-180 range which are totally reasonable to me. I'll be finding the one I need today or tomorrow and ordering.

Hope it works out. I saw the secure stance fenders when I ordered my skylight. They have a .ca website which I found out when I got my parcel they were 40 miles away from me.

It must happen in three's!!. I was coming back from Houston and had my first blow out. A passer by told me as I couldn't even feel it. It tore off my fender skirt and ruined the paint of the lower aluminum skin unfortunately. Then 3 miles on after I changed the tire one of my leaf springs broke!!. Waited 7 hours for the roadside guys to arrive and $1,275 later I was on my way!!!
What a giant rip off but I don't know what mt alternative was as I couldn't pull the trailer like that. Oh and 3 new tires also. Welcome to RVing I guess. First problem in 5000+ miles. 2015 model too so I have no idea why a leaf spring would break????

I checked both suggested sites. $150 for a piece of plastic?! You got to be kidding?
I have shopped, there are none cheaper.

Yep, pretty disgusting, heh? I wonder how easy it would be to fabricate aluminum fender skirts.

On my last unit I went to a trailer place and bought two Steel fenders off a flat bed trailer. I mounted these over the tires. a friend did the same thing. Jim had two tires go out on the same time did not tear up and thing on the unit. I had one go out on the interstate saved the trailer side. Than switched to 16 inch wheels and tires LT s no more tire trouble.

Fender skirt reattach advice
We also lost a fender skirt enroute somewhere. We read on this forum that when reattaching someone advised using a small angle shaped clip that attaches behind the screw ; works kind of like a lock washer. We did that when replacing ours and they are still tight. Wish I could take photo. We did get our replacement from ICON. Perfect match

Mine blew off as did yours and I shamed my dealer into providing a replacement for free as the trailer only had less than 5000 miles on it and it should not have blown off if it had been secured properly to begin with. Factory defect during manufacture.

These things are one of those places that I regularly grab the screwdriver to check if there loose, replaced a few that were missing from before previous and added self locking nuts everywhere possible . Another thing is I had a few eyelet holes of the covers with tiny cracks starting due to the screw loose, vibration, or where the screw was missing, I put a small flatwasher on that with a spot of brown calking then tightened the screw or replaced it with new #10 bolt and self locking nut. After seeing the price as posted, sure glad I did. Preventive maintenance is always the cheapest fix. BUT if a blowout happens, well we all know how this story will end.
