After many weeks of looking, I finally found my roof leak. Bought the 18ft. Zinger used, dealer said the leak had been fixed (but wasn't). Try to picture this: During heavy rains, the tiny gutter along the top edge of the trailer fills with water. On the awning side it fills up totally, higher than the trim strip covering the screws along the edge. The water would get into the channel of the trim and run down inside to the front of the trailer, where it would stop after encountering something. That's where it was leaking into the cabinet wall. Dealer had resealed the seam in that area, but the water was coming in 4-5 feet away so the extra sealing didn't do a thing, except look crappier.I sealed up the whole trim strip just to be safe with clear Proflex, which I've used before. No more leak.

Glad you found it. Water leaks can be real difficult to find at times.

That same gutter with the trim over the screws was found to be leaking under the awning on mine....all the screws were loose , had to tighten all of them and all the screws on the other side also. Also resealed the part between the roof material and the trim .
Everyone should check the screws themselves ...just as a precaution.

Hope you have some advice for me!!!I just picked up our new 270bh and found all kinds of issues...but today was the worst, the roof in the slide started blistering and filling with water. We have not even slept in it once. I just called dealer and requested a new trailer....so upset...
