Hey Everyone,
On one of our last camping trips we noticed our fridge in or Zinger 32QB wasn't running off of our electric. It was on and everything was cold but it seems it was running off of gas. We have it so it will switch over in case of electric power outage. Everything else seemed to work fine and none of the breakers were tripped. Suggestions anyone?
First, check to make sure you DO have 120v to the outlet. There are a few fuses on the control module you can check (pull cover). There is also an in-line fuse on one of the wires. While the cover is off, check connections (pull and reset connectors).
I had a similar problem this past weekend. When plugged into the 50 amp circuit, only some systems were working in the rv. The fridge ran only on gas. When I used the adapter and plugged into the 30 amp circuit, everything worked. The 50 amp circuit checked out, no problems. I suspect my 50 amp cord is defective and only one leg of the 50 amp circuit was working.
If you are hooking up to a 50 amp circuit it possibly could be either the campground outlet was bad, or your 50 amp cord is bad.

Seems like it was running on gas? Was the gas light on? You would also hear it exhausting outside.
