front jacks

We just purchased a Crossroads Rushmore Lincoln, 2013, 40' 11"; 45 slides, private party. After hooking up to our one ton dually truck the front jacks are only 6" off the ground. Not sure what to do to get more clearance? Will try moving the pins in pin box but that will only give us another 2". Any ideas?

adjust the pin box and/or hitch to get the trailer as level as possible and to get a min. of 6in clearance between bed rails and bottom of trailer. the jack pads should be fine after that.

Did you pull the pins on the front jacks to manually retract them up in the tubes??
