Does the landing jacks have a stop when retracting or not?

I have a friend with a Seville that the motor just quite. Dealer checked and motor was gone, they replaced it. When he got home to unhook they stopped working again, so he brought it back and they said he had gone up to far and did some damage and charged him $160 to fix.

Yes they stop but I don't know if there is a clutch or not. I doubt it. I took mine up to far and they stopped but I didn't force it. I have a mark on my legs that I don't go beyond.

My Cruiser dosen't have a stop except it can go full up until it hits the top and the start slipping. This isn't something you want to do.

No I do not have a stop Just a mark on the leg. You can Burn out the motors by going all the way up or out

Mine has no clutch. You can hear everything get tight and the motor stalls. Unless you hold your finger on the button for a long period of time, I can't believe you would burn out the motor. What I do know is that sometimes the switch for my slides stick. Can this be the problem?

I burned mine up. the switch for mine is located on the front of the unit. The way we figure it, we must have kicked up a rock perfect and it hit the switch. The motor ran and destroyed the gears inside and then burned up. We stopped at a stop sign and could hear a humming. Too late by then. New motor and gear box and let me tell you, on my CrossTerrain, you can't get to that motor easy at all.

_popupControl();

Not sure if I'm missing something or not. But why would you need to retract the landing gear all the up? I raise mine equal to the spare tire height and that's it.

I found grease zerts on the top of each tube for the landing. They still had paint on the ball so I guess they grease tube and install for later use.

No stops. Had to replace one of mine when the gear broke. I just bought a levelease for the 5th wheel and it does have stops that get mounted on the legs to stop them from going up too far. This thing is the best deal for conecting, disconecting, and leveling your 5th wheel. One button for each function and it does it all by itself. Sure did take the pain out of connecting and disconnecting. levelease.com
